PTFE Thread Sealant Tape, Readi-Seal™, is the ideal solution for sealing threaded metal and plastic pipe connections up to 2" diameter. Our thread sealant tape provides a tight seal while providing natural lubrication to prevent galling of the threads. Made of 100% virgin PTFE, it is resistant to most common chemicals, and is rated for temperatures from -450 deg F to +550 deg F. Available in 4 different widths and 3 densities, our tapes can be used in general purpose applications such as water and air, or difficult applications such as acids and pure oxygen

Purple Maxx™ Thread Sealant Tape is the workhorse of our heavy-duty tapes. Purple Maxx™ Tape is thicker and denser than most other tapes, and can be used in virtually any application up to 10,000 psi. It provides a tight seal while providing natural lubrication to prevent damage of the threads. Made of 99.5% virgin PTFE (a pigment is added for coloring), it is resistant to most common chemicals, and is rated for temperatures from -450 deg F to +550 deg F. Purple Maxx™ Tape can be used in virtually any application (except Oxygen). It can also be used in gas lines where local codes do not require yellow gas line tape. Purple Maxx’s™ unique color prevents it from being confused with lighter tapes.

Our PTFE Gas Line Thread Sealant Tape, Readi-Seal™, is a heavy-duty, full-density tape that permits quick, clean and economical sealing of threaded pipe connections. Its full density makes it ideal for gas lines and other applications requiring the best possible seal. The tape is made of 99.5% virgin PTFE (a pigment is added for coloring) PTFE, with only a pigment additive for coloring. Its yellow color helps to distinguish it from lower density, general purpose thread sealant tapes.

Our Nickel-Filled PTFE Thread Sealant Tape, Readi-Seal™, is a thick, premium-density tape that permits quick, clean sealing of threaded stainless steel pipe connections. Its PTFE base provides natural lubrication of the joint, while its nickel filler prevents galling of the threads which is common in stainless steel assemblies. At 4-mil thick, it is the ideal solution for sealing stainless steel threaded joints. The tape also contains a grey pigment for easy identification, and distinguishes it from lower density, general purpose thread sealant tapes.

Our PTFE Oxygen Line Thread Sealant Tape, Readi-Seal™,  is a heavy-duty, premium-density tape that permits quick, clean and economical sealing of threaded pipe connections. Its premium density makes it ideal for oxygen lines and other applications requiring the best possible seal. The tape is made of 99.5% virgin PTFE (a pigment is added for coloring) PTFE, with only a pigment additive for coloring. Its green color helps to distinguish it from lower density, general purpose thread sealant tapes.
